말씀의 칼(계 6:2)로 앗수르 땅을 황무케 할 144,000명은 사람을 의지하지 않는다. 사람을 기대면 하나님이 때리신다. 이들은 오직 여호와만 앙망하는 인격(사 40:27~31)으로 신창조되어, 젊은 사자같이 부르짖으며 야곱의 모든 원수를 진멸할 자들이다. 앗수르의 병거를 훼파하며 적기독 성읍들을 멸하며 모든 거짓 종교와 사람이 만들어 낸 인본주의 우상들을 부수어 버릴 자들이다. 특히 하나님이 "아세라 목상"(미 5:14)을 없애버리실 때 쓰임받을 귀한 종들이다.
 
사 17:7 "그 날에 사람이 자기를 지으신 자를 쳐다보겠으며 그 눈이 이스라엘의 거룩하신 자를 바라보겠고 8 자기 손으로 만든 단을 쳐다보지 아니하며 자기 손가락으로 지은 아세라나 태양상을 바라보지 아니할 것이며"
 
사 27:9 "야곱의 불의가 속함을 얻으며 그 죄를 없이 함을 얻을 결과는 이로 인하나니 곧 그가 제단의 모든 돌(종교바벨탑)로 부숴진 횟돌 같게하며 아세라와 태양상으로 다시 서지 못하게 함에 있는 것이라"
